Most boards moved to a formal reval/recheck/photocopy regime, but RTI remains the safety net for unjustified denials.

No — §8(1)(g) protects evaluator identity. You can ask for the marks-record + answer-sheet copy.
Boards charge Rs. 700-1500 for photocopy under their own bye-laws. RTI fee is separate Rs. 10.
