Q2. Is Rs. 1.30 lakh the total assistance?
PMAY-G: Rs. 1.20-1.30 lakh (plain); Rs. 1.30-1.50 lakh (hilly/tribal/NE). PMAY-U varies by sub-scheme.

Q3. Can I shift between schemes?
PMAY-G and PMAY-U are separate; you cannot be in both simultaneously.

Q4. What about cost-escalation?
Not covered; sanction amount is fixed.
