Short version. Building plan sanction + Occupancy Certificate (OC) at Municipal Corporation Town Planning are governed by State Town Planning Acts + Municipal Bye-Laws. SLA: typically 60-90 days for plan sanction, 30 days for OC after completion. Without OC, you cannot legally occupy + bank loans require it.
