Key Gujarat-specific points
- Rs 20 State fee — higher than most states. Court-fee stamps (affixed on plain paper) or Demand Draft acceptable; some departments also accept online via e-Nagar or department portals.
- Gujarati filing: §4(3) permits; Gujarati is fully accepted without applicant-side translation.
- iKhedut (https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in) is a subsidy/scheme tracking portal for farmers — not a primary RTI route.
- Gujarat's “strong §4” history: many departments maintain good §4(1)(b) disclosure — check first before filing a §6 RTI.
- Gujarat HC pleadings ruling: per Gujarat HC 2019, third-party cannot obtain HC pleadings via RTI — use certified-copies procedure under CPC.

- “Records with Mamlatdar/Taluka” — §6(3) transfer within 5 days.
- “§8(1)(j) personal” — post-DPDP 2025, check the actual scope.
